This policy explains what Ghar Bowls collects when you order food through our website or Android app, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Your name and phone number — so we can confirm your order and the rider can reach you.
Your delivery address and area — so we can deliver your food.
Your order details — the bowls, sides and add-ons you chose, the delivery date and slot, and the amount.
Payment reference — if you pay by UPI, we see the amount and the reference your bank shares with us. We never see or store your UPI PIN, card numbers or bank login.
Basic technical information — our hosting provider records standard access logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the service running and secure.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or anything from your device beyond what you type into the order form.

Why we collect it

Only to take, prepare, deliver and support your order, to manage meal plans you buy, and to keep basic business records. We do not build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

Our delivery riders — your name, phone number and address, for that delivery only.
Our technology providers — the database and hosting services that run this app on our behalf.
Authorities — only if the law requires it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and food-safety record requirements. You can ask us to delete your personal details at any time, except where we must keep a record of a completed transaction.

Your choices

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored with a managed database provider. Only authorised staff can see order details. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep the data we collect to a minimum.

Children

This service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date above.
